This is about the Lemma page at lemma.reddooranalytics.se: what its request-an-invite form collects, who handles it, how visits to the page are counted, and what you can ask of us. Lemma itself is in a private beta and is a separate thing, covered by its own terms for the groups that use it.
Who is responsible
Red Door Analytics AB (org. nr 559351-8359), Valfrid Palmgrens Gata 4, 113 69 Stockholm, Sweden, decides how what you send us here is used. You can reach us at contact@reddooranalytics.se.
What the invite form collects, and why
Only what you type into it. It asks for your name, your university or work email, your university, institute or hospital, and your role, the size of your group and whether you hold or expect to hold a grant. It also offers some optional questions: your country, where your group’s work lives today, how you heard about Lemma, anything else you want us to know, and a tick if you would like to be a design partner.
We use it to reply to you, to decide who to invite as places open, and, if you tick the box, to talk to you about being a design partner. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.
How it reaches us, and who handles it
Pressing send posts your answers to a small function that runs on Microsoft Azure in West Europe. It checks them and sends them to us as an email, through Azure Communication Services with its data stored in Europe, to our shared contact mailbox at reddooranalytics.se. Azure’s delivery logs for that sending service record each send and whether it arrived, and are kept for 30 days.
To stop one source from flooding the form we count sends from a network address for a short while. That count is held in memory only: the address is never written down or logged, and it is forgotten whenever the function restarts. The form also has a hidden field and a short timer that only an automated sender trips. The page itself sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser.
Microsoft Azure and Microsoft 365 are the services that handle your request on our behalf. We do not share it with anyone else for their own purposes.
Counting visits
This page counts visits with Plausible Analytics, a European service, so that we can see whether it is being read. It sets no cookies, does not follow you between websites and does not build a profile of you. Its script is loaded from plausible.io, and its own data policy says what it records. We do this because we have a legitimate interest in knowing whether the page is useful.
Why we may use it
For what you send in the form, your consent: you give it by ticking the box when you send the form, and you can withdraw it at any time by writing to us, which does not affect what we did before you withdrew. For counting visits, our legitimate interest, as above.
How long we keep it
Only as long as we need it to reply to you and to manage places in the beta. If your request leads nowhere we delete it, and if you ask us to delete it sooner we do.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, and to receive it in a portable form. Write to contact@reddooranalytics.se and we will answer. You also have the right to complain to the Swedish data-protection authority, Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY).
